How To Choose The Filter

1. On the filter

As the name suggests, filters are used for filtering liquids or gases and some fluids. Its main function is to filter, in order to achieve the purpose of users.

2. On the classification of filters

Filters are mainly classified into two categories according to their accuracy requirements.

1. coarse filter, also known as pre filter. The main difference is that their filtering accuracy is usually larger than 100 microns (100um to 10mm…). ;

2. precision filter, also known as fine filter. The main difference is that their filtering accuracy is generally less than 100 microns (100um~0.22um).

According to the material requirements, the filter is divided into three categories:

1. carbon steel material (common materials, such as Q235., A3, 20#, etc.), mainly used for corrosive liquids or gases and so on. Of course, as a filter for vulnerable parts. It is usually made of stainless steel.

2. stainless steel material (such as 304, 316, etc.), mainly used for corrosive media. The premise is that these materials can be tolerated. The filter element is made of stainless steel, titanium metal or PP.

3. PP materials (such as polypropylene, polytetrafluoro, including fluorine lining or lining PO, etc.) are mainly used in chemical products such as acid, alkali, salt and so on. The filter core is generally polypropylene.

According to the pressure requirement, the filter is divided into three categories:

1. low pressure: 0 ~ 1.0MPa.

2. middle pressure: 1.6MPa to 2.5MPa.

3. high pressure: 2.5MPa to 11.0MPa.
